
Cliff is a both a Project Management Professional and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources, having worked extensively in government, aerospace, manufacturing, retail, education, hospitality, and First Nation environments. Cliff was a key bid member of the joint KF Aerospace/CAE (known as SkyAlyne) project management team that was successful in securing the Government of Canada/Royal Canadian Air Force’s $11.4B Future Aircrew Training Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Royal Military College, a Project Management Certificate from Okanagan College, and post-graduate certificates in leadership and management from both the Canadian Forces College and the Canadian Army Command and Staff College. In 2019, Cliff retired from the Canadian Army at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. As an infantry officer and paratrooper, he served in a variety of leadership and management positions throughout Canada and around the world, including operational tours of duty in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Cyprus, the former Yugoslavia, and Germany. He has an extensive understanding of the Canadian Armed Forces, having served in a variety of leadership and command roles within combat arms units, in senior management roles at national and regional headquarters, and in key military advisory and support positions.
